While we couldn’t solve the issue initially, I was able to return the original unit, and they promptly sent me a replacement of the exact same model.   Item was very late, I assume Evri was used as the carrier because they are cheap but every item I have purchased that has been sent using Evri has either been very late or lost entirely. They are quite honestly the worst carrier company ever. I've had enough now and if the item I want will be sent using Evri I will look elsewhere.
