Excellent laptop from HP
I generally don't buy refurbished laptops and this was my first HP Certified refurbished Spectre x360 13.3" (late 2016/early 2017 with Kaby Lake i7). After seeing this, I highly recommend HP Certified refurbished laptops. It looks new with minor scratches that is not easily noticeable. My laptop has a Hynix 512GB NVMe SSD and it was sparingly used. Total writes was less than 1TB and the total power on cycles was 23 times. Great speakers for such a small portfolio. I opted for the FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution since 4K consumes a lot of battery. I get 10 hours on usage with this one. In addition to USB Type A 3.1 Gen 1, it also has two Type C Gen 2 Thunderbolt ports, hence it's future proof. Down the lane, we will only have products with Type C ports if not Thunderbolt. Current HP Spectre (late 2017) comes with the latest 8th Gen Cannon Lake processor. If you need a fingerprint scanner, MicroSD card reader and 4K, go for it. However, 8th gen processors are new and I am not sure how they perform. I don't like buying electronics as soon as they are released in the market and I wait at least 6 months to an year but Kaby Lake has been great so far. If you need a 4G LTE SIM support on your laptop, go for HP EliteBook otherwise, I don't see any major difference between Spectre and EliteBook. Highly recommended laptop!
