Good introduction to an early American music style.
The lack of a cd keeps it from getting 5 stars; however most of the music can be found on Timtwiss or keying Briggs 1855 on YouTube. Be warned some of the titles and many illustrations are offensive though historically accurate.

Good bluegrass tone, good playability.
I was looking for the lightest possible gauge strings, while learning Bluegrass chop chords. These fit the bill perfectly.
