Pleasantly surprised

First, I am a die hard Lego fan and always have been but some of the prices out there for some of these fun sets are more outrageous than when I was a kid in the 80's!! Finding the official Lego version of this set to be much too much of a hit in the wallet for nostalgic purposes, I am so happy I found this set. Honestly, other than the Lego logo emblazoned on every nub on every piece and block (smooth on this set) you would hardly know any difference at all. All this being said, if you want to purchase a set for its future value I recommend the official Lego set 100% but I just wanted to have fun putting this set together and feel like a kid again and I did. Highly recommended for the latter purposes!! A++
