Had one, got another
2 of 2 found this helpful I've been a long-time user of Omega juicers. I like the masticating juicer as I can make hummus and other things besides juice. Although the body of the machine is metal, the attachments are plastic, but so is everything else in the world today and they are very strong parts. As a matter of fact I had an incident with my previous omega, of my own doing, that resulted in having to toss the entire parts assembly when I accidentally broke a piece of a wooden spoon that I was using to press some veggies through. Never do that. It jammed and wouldn't move, but the parts definitely did not break or crack. SO, I got another and am happy to be back in business.
