Good modem, but very bright blue light
4 of 5 found this helpful I knew about the blue light problem and I read that one could simply put some tape over the led lights, but that is not the case. The case has holes to reduce heat that allows the light to come out. You can't simply tape up the holes as that will damage the device. I placed it behind my wall mounted tv and there is a blue glow on the wall.
