Solid radio!
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a very nice radio, packed with features and thoughtfully laid out. Even though it has some of the newer bells and whistles - the roger beep, the freq. counter, et al - it really does remind me of some of the rigs from CB's golden age, the great old Presidents, Cobras, Teaberrys, etc. This radio performs - and does it with old school class. It's large - and not for the newbie - but if you're looking for a great mobile or base radio for 11 meters, it's well worth a look.

Great idea - great sound
9 of 9 found this helpful Superior sound to my old Bose Series IV equalizer. A noticeable improvement. Tight bass, warm mids and nice sparkle up top. I have no idea why/how an EQ should effect imaging and soundstage, but this DSP based unit has made a difference there, too. My 901's have never sounded better.
