Nugent Live
1 of 1 found this helpful If your a old school Nugent fan, this is a DVD you must have in your collection!
My first concert was Nugent in Springfield Missouri in 1975-76
Right after the Stranglehold alblum came out. he was rocking hard. He sounded just like the alblum, only LOUDER! Years later and many concerts later I realized most bands sounded nothing like their alblum in a Live setting. Too much studio magic. Ted had great songs, great melodies and tasteful, memorable leads. Not many rockers from the 70's are still going as strong as Ted. Most are on the has been tours, playing casino caberets!! If you get a chance to see uncle Ted, JUMP ON IT, if not, this DVD will give you a taste.

Everything from Fender Clean (made by Fender, duh) to full shred, just have to go easy on the gain knob...
4 of 4 found this helpful This is the ultimate gigging amp, my band plays everything from blues, country, oldies and Rock (Weezer, Judas Priest) and with very little fiddling, you can dial in any sound. I run it thru a 1-12 cab loaded with a EVM12. Powerful. Don't know why anyone would need the 100 watt version

Right after the Stranglehold alblum came out. A wall of fender Heads and cabs, he had a great tone. He sounded just like the alblum, only LOUDER! Years later and many concerts later I realized most bands sounded nothing like their alblum in a Live setting. Ted had great songs, great melodies and tasteful, memorable leads. Not many rockers from the 70's are still going as strong as Ted. Most are on the "has been tours", playing casino caberets!! If you get a chance to see Ted, pony up! This DVD will give you a small taste.
