TPU & Polycarbonate
I knew I wanted a case with a grippy hard edge and a somewhat rigid back for my new smartphone. After researching and reading tons of reviews, I decided that the combo of TPU and PC (polycarbonate) was what I wanted. I had a rubbery Otterbox on my last phone that picked up lint, something I wanted to avoid this time around.
The Incipio Octane case has a TPU bumper & Polycarbonate shell. The black bumper has 'tread marks' along its edge, giving a good grip. I purchased the case in black/frost, and I can see the phone's black case, with the Moto logo, through the translucent shell.
It's a sharp-looking case that does not add any bulk, and the power and volume buttons are well-defined. The wraparound edges of the bumper protect the screen when the phone is face-down on a surface.
I am very pleased with this case.

Longtime User -- Since 1976
As noted in the title, I've used the "original" planner since 1976, when it was known as 'Day-Timer Junior,' and there were just two sizes! So I've used these refills ever since.
The size is great for carrying in a purse, as it's not too big. I also like that there are several pages of months (current and future) at the back of each refill so that I can schedule out. And I always beat those with smartphones when scheduling in advance!

Great Towel Grabbers
I've used these in the past, but couldn't find them again locally. eBay to the rescue!
I use one in my kitchen as it holds my towel securely when I use it to dry my hands. I prefer not having to leave the towel on the counter, or hang it on various door knobs.
The best way I've found to hang a towel in one of these grabbers is to fold the towel in half length-wise and take just the hem at that mid-point and feed it into the V. Once the towel is secured, it won't come out until it's pulled back up and out.
