Great upgrade

The processor installed without any problems in an old Compaq CQ61-411WM, replacing a AMD Sempron M120 processor. The laptop also received a SSD and 4GB of Ram in months prior.
Even with the other upgrades already in place, there was a notable performance improvement.
The laptop is a dual boot machine (Windows 10 and Linux Mint Cinnamon): Linux accepted the new processor instantly, while Win 10 initially booted and then got stuck on a black screen. The second window boot and all that followed were successful.
In Linux Mint: CPU "Blowfish" test score improved from 21.04 to 8.67 (lower better) and CPU "Crytohash" score from 77.92 to 183.40 (higher better).
Temps for light duty activity has remained at 120F +/-5F, while HD video streaming now runs at 145F-155F compared to 138F-148F with the old chip. (Turion M600 is rated 10W higher - same Cooler)

Identical replacement
A perfect replacement for a leaking one on my 20+ year old HF aircompressor.
Installed without any problem and no adjustments were required.
