Test it before you fit it
Arrived promptly and was well packaged. However when I fitted it (and I fitted the Thetford pumps before) I had leaks. I thought it was the hoses as they are old. Time and time again I took it out and put it back. Eventually found the body of the pump was leaking.
Simple test before you fit is to block outlet and blow through inlet. That’s when I found it leaked. I discovered after I had discarded packaging etc. Live and learn.
