Almost great

"+" Good price, fast shipping... "-" Problem is the bolt holes are too small and I had to drill them out to be able to use the diaphragm. Doing so you never know if the coil will line up correctly in the very tiny slot. The driver works, but I'm not sure if the coil doesn't touch the body of the driver and its performance or life span wasn't compromised.

BEST SLP SNARE

All SLP snares are well made. This one also sounds fantastic. The name "Fat" is spot on. Spruce is soft wood, so you should take a good care of this snare. It sounds very woody, fat and controlled. By far my favorite SLP snare.
