Don't ignore life's lessons.

At 47 I still forget that you get what you pay for. This helmet looked ok and at just $18 I couldn't pass it up. When it came I immediately realized it was terrible. It felt very light which is good but it also felt very cheap. When I put it on it made me appreciate all the other helmets I've owned over the years and how comfortable THEY were. Don't waste your money on this one.

Just buy an entire I-spec unit.

You can buy an I-spec unit for about 12 dollars more than this "adaptor." Once I installed it I could only shift in one direction. Took it back off and everything was fine again. Not sure what it is but wouldn't work for me at all.
