Appears that it will work
Installed this last weekend and only have about 14 mile of driving on it, but it appears that it will do the trick. It's a very tight fit and the seal ends up sitting a little higher. Don't need but one of these per transmission, so I'll probably sell the others on eBay at some time...

Solid product, installation is not all that hard if you've got a die grinder. Between the shaft and tightening up the Saginaw box, the results were amazing.
