I bought it for use underwater, I have all Canon products and have been a WannaBe photographer all my life, I knew of the G9 thru reviews when it came out, but I was already shooting an older model underwater. I have also
purchased the telephoto and wide angle lens for it also and plan to use it as a fill in camera on my photo jaunts.
