Not made as well as I'd hoped
4 of 4 found this helpful This ash vacuum has so far done a good job of keeping my pellet stove clean. It makes it way easier to do a daily cleaning than trying to sweep out the ashes. My concerns though include that 1.) the metal clips that secure the top to the drum are poorly made and thereby allow the clips to come loose very easily and 2.) The motor actually heats up so much with use that it puts hot air out through the exhaust. Yes, I am careful to not be vacuuming hot ash, so the motor overheating is the only possible source for the hot air exhaust. I am fearful that the motor will burn out prematurely.
