UNICEL D.E. FS2005 Filter Grids Set 60 Sq Ft Hayward Pac-Fab 7 Full (Open Box)

OEM performance at a good price

Product was advertised as a direct replacement for a 60 ft2 pool filter, and have had a month of run time with no problems. The new filter is running at substantially lowered pressure drop, which will lead to lower operational costs. Changeout was simple, though messy with the spent diatomaceous earth. No instructions were provided with the package, but it wasn't really needed as long as you take a photo of the original configuration and replace one grid at a time. Rather than cleaning the old filter grids immediately as I did last time, I allowed the grids to air dry which made the removal of the spent DE much easier (but make sure that you wear a mask and try to knock off the DE in an enclosed bag to avoid inhaling the dust). I put the cleaned filtered grids aside and will have them available next year when I have to repeat the process. In summary, the filters appear to be of good construction and I would have no hesitation in buying this product again.

Solid value at this price point.

Solid product, the fit is good with positive ratcheting action. Made my life a lot easier during my vehicle suspension install. The size of these ratchets were good and felt solid in the hands. Good product for the weekend mechanic. Would I have preferred Snap-On? Of course, but these did the job at a fraction of the price.
