At-A-Glance 1170NX810506 Columnar Executive Weekly/monthly Appointment Book,

Lightweight with great features
For my purposes this one provides exactly what I need. Full month on two page view for planning my travel and the multiple two page per week view for more detailed scheduling. Important dates, conversions, a few phone numbers as well as the note pad in the back all add real functionality and value in a lightweight and professional..if not luxurious..package. Finally, card storage flap in the front tops it off to make this the lightest and best value planner that I've had. Great for the frequent traveler!
Corona Dual Cut 32 In. Steel Bypass Lopper SL7180 - 1 Each

Not what I expected from Corona Clipper
I am torn on this one. I was thrilled when I first received the tool...it felt substantial, stout, and sharp. I was also drawn by the innovative design in the cutting blade with the hook in its center to give more holding power of a branch to be cut. To me now, that’s exactly why I wouldn’t recommend it. On the very first use, I was cutting some Crepe Myrtle stalks that were a touch over an inch in diameter thick. Should have been a cinch for them. I cut using the outer section of the blade. On the second branch cut, I heard, and felt, a snap which I figured was the branch giving way. It was actually the blade catching on the center hook in the overall cutting blade. It wrecked the cutting edge right at the point where it contacts the little hook. I was able to file out the burr it put on the cutting edge, but there’s already damage to the blade now. VERY disappointed that this design, which is supposed to allow you MORE leverage and better cutting, performed so poorly. I might have expected this from a pair of low budget loppers...but from a Corona Clipper product??? I haven’t contacted the company yet, but I’m not sure that will be successful in any event. They’re still useable, but I’m not optimistic about their durability and future in my garden shed. I don’t think the Dual Cut design did anything but pull the cutting blade into the holding blade and cause the damage. I would stick with a standard bypass lopper blade and stay away from what I now consider to be a gimmick.

Pro Series Callaway X-14 irons
Great irons. Seem to have a great blend of soft feel with forgiveness on slight mishits. I switched from Ping Eye 2's and the Callaway's are hands down better from the 7 iron down. I don't notice much difference in the 6 iron up and in fact the only reason I didn't rate these as a 5/5 is because the 3 iron is tougher to hit than the Eye 2. But, these allow me to work the ball from right to left a bit and give me MUCH better spin as well as 5 to 10 yards more distance (again with the 7 iron down). I was looking for something just a touch more aggressive than the Eye 2's afforded and these have really hit the mark for me. I've got much better control of my iron play overall with these clubs and would recommend them highly.
