After Market version of Sub Zero part
I have been servicing appliances and sealed systems for move than 20yrs. Knowing the item was after market part, about $50 less that what I could buy the OEM for. I was still confident I was getting a usable part. Have used both OEM and after market parts many times and the majority have been OK. This product appeared well made, not as beefy / heavy as the OEM version. Install went well except, none of the mounting hole line up to the original and the suction / return port was not swedged to allow the heat exchanger to fit. Not enough to return the part... But if it's being listed as an exact replacement, then the mounting points should match / fit.

For a generic branded filter it is a great value. Have not had a dud for any purchased.

Great value when they work
Buy many filters and brands for use / business. Generic version are hit and miss. This brand version, I have had bad filters out of the box where they would not charge or pass water through. Maybe 2 out of 8, unfortunately since I back stock... it might be a month or more after purchase that I find out if their bad or not.
