Robust, and has useful and practical features.
Previously used a WBR-2310. Had problems connecting to wifi when the computer restarted. If the connection was already established, then when the computer went into sleep mode / power saving mode, wireless network would be lost. In such cases, the router had to be restarted.
We had similar problems with the laptop too, so it wasn't necessarily a computer problem.
With the DIR-655, we have had no such problems so far. It has a additional "guest zone", to boot - perfect when having guests at home.
The reason I did not give it five stars in all categories is that I have had it for a short time only, so cannot tell.

Great upgrade from AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+

I was able to upgrade my DELL Inspiron 531 (motherboard - 0ry206) from the factory original AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+, to this AMD Dual Core CPU Athlon 64X2 6000+ 3.0GHz Socket AM2 ADA6000IAA6CZ 89W.
This is, most possibly, the maximum processor upgrade version I can go with this motherboard.
I FIRST upgraded the BIOS to version 1.0.13 .
I also filled the memory bays with 8GB (4x2GB) Dell SNPYG410C/2G Memory RAM.
(I do feel that the memory is overkill for this motherboard-processor combo. Possibly 6GB of PC2-5300 666.67 MHz might be the optimum.)
Anyway, things are running great for the last two months.

Connect newer Display Port to older VGA monitors

This adapter, by itself, CANNOT connect directly to your monitor's input port.
