Demon's & Angel's/Good Value and Quality Recording
A good 3 disc boxed set. A bonus feature was the enclosed 36+ page booklet compiled by Mr. Stefan Grossman. Good quality recordings made me appreciate the production effort. This isn't some "get it done quick " shabby bootleg. Money well spent ! If you're a Rev. Gary Davis follower, then you'll like the addition of several rare and previously unreleased toe tappin' tunes. I enjoyed listening over the course of a few afternoons. Thank Mr. Grossman for your devotion to the good Reverend's music.

Maybe "The Tapes" should have stayed in "The Basement"
1 of 2 found this helpful I waited a year for this become more affordable to me. Consider myself a big Bob fan, yet paying the original $150 price tag seemed too extravagant. Packaging and promotional items are fine, it just the actual recordings that are not what I expected. Too many of the tracks still laden with static scratchiness from the original taping. BUT - in my defense for spending $75 bucks..... it was still entertaining.
