I NEVER THOUGHT THE STORY LINE PORTRAYED THE CHINESE PEOPLE IN A NEGATIVE WAY.
CHARLIE CHAN WAS ALWAYS SMARTER THAN ANY OF THE OTHER DETECTIVES. BY ADDING A LITTLE HUMOR TO THE STORY WITH HIS FAMILY & BIRMINGHAM ONLY ADDED TO THE ENJOYMENT OF THE MOVIES.

British Mysteries are very well written.
John Nettles is GREAT. I'm sorry he retired from the series. The series with him were very entertaining.

British Mysteries are very well written and George Gently is one of the best.
Martin Shaw and Lee Ingleby are simply superb together. The series is very entertaining. I plan on buying all of their
DVDS. Hope they put more than the 7 they have now. Superb stories, very well written. I also hope the series continue t
be shown on television.
