Excellent for scanning slides

I bought this for scanning 40 years worth of slides, some professional, some personal. It does an excellent job on the slides. Not fast, but very good color and detail resolutions, including options for color restoration of older slides and backlight correction. I only tried one document scan and it was pretty slow compared to my HP printer/scanner, which is a much newer model. I would highly recommend it for scanning slides.
