Billie's Last Recording finally makes it to CD

Years ago, when I was an undergraduate, a professor had this album and played it for the class to listen to. I later even made a recording of the music because the album was out of print. When I noticed recently, it was made into a CD, I had to have it - in fact, I had been thinking of it from time to time but never saw it previously in the Billie Holiday collections. What I like about it: Everything. Every recording is nice and Billie sings each selection with soul and emotion. The orchestration is good and I especially like the blending of Billie's vocals and the orchestra. No dislikes for me on this one - if you are a Billie Holiday fan like I am, you won't be sorry with this CD and it is a most important addition to a Billie Holiday collection - but in my opinion, it is one of the best CD's that she recorded and I feel it is because of the music, song selections and Billie. Overall, I recommend this CD to jazz and blues fans and all music fans. It has a magical quality to it and the music is very enjoyable.
