Should work well as intended. I needed for camper shell lift door, they are way too strong for this light door! Seems to be well made, would recommend for anyone needing extra support (over 100 lbs force needed to start compressing strut).

Not an exact fit for my 1994 dakota 3.9l, but was able to make it fit.Too short to fit rail clips. Works well.
