Inexpensive and high quality
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an enterprise grade access point for less than the cost of a new "consumer-grade" (read: junk) unit bought new. If you have the know how to work with IOS then this is a great option for an access point that just works. The "LAP" units are normally run in "lightweight" mode with a controller, but they can be loaded with an "autonomous" image relatively easily which would be more typical in a residential/small commercial environment.
