Ahhh... Jorune...
I only heard of this game through old Dragon magazines in the 1980s. At the time, I thought it was another alternate Dungeons and Dragons-style world, minus the elves, which was then its strongest advertising point. In actuality, the world is set over 3,600 years in the future, 3,500 plus years after the colonization of a primitive, alien-inhabited world went wrong and the colony was cut off by an Earth-Lunar war that ended further efforts at space travel from then on, and possibly also wiped out all of mankind back on Mother Earth. Meanwhile, a series of wars and disasters occur over the next three-and-a-half millennia that change the world of Jorune forever. Very good original effort at world and campaign-building. This game universe is almost as complex as Frank Herbert's Dune novel series. Can't believe I missed the three editions of this in the mid-1980s to mid-1990s.

Great role playing game sourcebook...
A good adaptation of the original comic book, using a tried and true gaming system (Twilight 2000) as it's base. I have enjoyed the comics for years, so it was a treat to also read the worldview sections of the RPG too. Otherwise, it was very similar to how G.U.R.P.S. does its own world books of other authors as well.
