It's an extraordinary tool but make sure you need it before you get it
2 of 2 found this helpful The D750 is probably the best deal for an all-around DSLR currently for sale (as of Christmas 2016). Yes, the D810 and 5DS and 5D IV have more resolution, but they're also much more expensive. The 6D and D610 are inferior and I think the additional cost (so long as you have Nikon glass) for the D750 over the D610 makes that an easy choice, particularly if you get the D750 as a refurb.
I've been delighted. It has an auto mode for the few times I pass the camera off to someone else but otherwise the dual control dials and effortless exposure compensation, with the auto-ISO, means I can simply leave it in manual and go to work. Image quality is as fantastic as you'd expect given the price.
The biggest problem with the D750 isn't other "Full Frame/FX/24x36 sensor" cameras, it's just how good DX cameras have become. The D7200 is much less expensive and nearly as good in everything except for extremely high ISO conditions (say 6400+). Still, I'm loving mine and I intend to keep it for a good long time.

Great lens if you know what you're getting
2 of 2 found this helpful It's an excellent lens at the shorter half and really good the rest of the length. It's not small and light but it's smaller and lighter than any f2.8 ultra wide zoom. It's just a good buy.

Great fun with a modern a6000!
1 of 1 found this helpful Terrific fun lens for my modern Sony a6000. Very nice quality and I appreciate the smooth and easy focus. Activating aperture control took some fiddling with the little metal rod in the base but it works great!
