Early Elvis
I started collecting ELvis Presley movies on DVD format with a coworker. I found this title on Ebay and order us each a copy. This is one of Elvis' earlier movies paralleling his own story of coming up from a virtual unknown and his rise in popularity in the music scene that he helped to shape and define. If you are an Elvis fan, this is another good selection to add to or begin a collection.

An Earlier Miss Marple
Like many, I started watching Agatha Christie's movies on television with Miss Joan Hickson playing Miss Marple and David Suchet and Peter Ustinov playing Hercule Poirot. Later, I started reading Agatha Christies books (about two dozen so far) and found another perspective to the characters. I had seen this set in catalogs before but i never ordered it. I later found it on Ebay and decided to finally buy it. Margaret Rutherford gives a slightly comical air to Miss Marple in contrast to the more serious portrayal by Joan Hickson. The set contains four episodes one of which has a cameo role by Joan Hickson. An interesting trend followed later by David Suchet playing Inspector Japp to Peter Ustinov's Poirot. Agatha Christie fans should surely appreciate Margaret Rutherford's performances as Miss Jane Marple in this early 1960's set.
