Absolutely Worth the Read!!
In my opinion, the measure of whether or not a text is "a good read" or "not worth the read" is easily determined by whether or not I'm compelled to continue reading or put the book down. The author, Ben Mezrich, presented the facts in his book, The 37th Parallel", in such a manner that the text is both engaging & memorable. I try to put a book down @ the end of a chapter so that the transition is smooth when I pick the book back up, but, in reading The 37th Parallel, I found it difficult to put the book down @ all, &, when I finally did have to put it down to go to bed, I quickly discovered that I had consumed nearly 1/2 the book, & the time had flown by so quickly that it made hrs of reading feel like mere minutes. Not everyone can dig into the topic of ufology & high strangeness w/any interest, so, I recommend to those folks, give another of Ben Mezrich's books a chance bc he is an astounding author.
