Not An Exact Part
1 of 1 found this helpful My biggest complaint is that the switches I received have a different (smaller) size pipe thread from the switch than on the tank.( original SS5L5). I had to re-use the bottom plate that houses the diaphragm from my original switch to make the connection. Luckily that worked. I guess I do like the fact that this switch is adjustable for cut-in and cut-off unlike the original. Also I do like the price of these switches. Just hope they deliver a decent life cycle. (I believe the advertised cut-off of this switch is 125 p.s.i. The original spec was 135 p.s.i.; but since it was adjustable I purchased it. As far as I can see the cut-off on this switch is 135 p.s.i. I don't know if there are any variations of the SS5L5 with different switch-tank connection sizes; so beware of this.
