Rare albums by Most featuring arrangements of Ronnie Woellner, and great guitar playing by Barry Galbraith.
Four fantastic albums for only twelve dollars? The set contains two albums that I've been looking for for years featuring the arrangements of Ronnie Woellner, a trumpet player who was winning Downbeat polls until he got in a car accident and lost his teeth. He became a great arranger, and one of the albums consists of solely arrangements of his for Baritone Sax, Guitar and Flute/clarinet, played by Most, Barry Galbraith and Marty Flax.
The only drawback is Most sounds kind of strident on clarinet, though he plays as great as he he plays on flute
