The best at last
1 of 1 found this helpful Knowing what you are buying is very important. Do the research first. How many monitors can you run? How many graphic cards do you need. Is there a big drain on the system when running 8 monitors? Will this effect the software I need to run. Will upgrading the Ram help it run faster?
This mac is powerful at 8 core. and with 20 gigs of ram and 3 Nvidia GeForce GT 120 graphic cards, Im running all my projects with ease. I have a high definition usb camera recording a band while I record the audio with protools 9 le, And running G-force visual art effect in the background on the projector screen. Yea all at the same time and only using 3% system power. This is a powerhouse mac. 2.4 GHz Quad core x 2 for 8 cores with 20 gigs ram and 4 2 TB hard drives. You can't go wrong.
