A compelling view of the Afghan culture from the inside, curiously and deftly written by a man with a woman's perspective.
This book was recommended to me by a dear friend, who said she has read it at least ten times. Any book someone would read ten times is a book I will give a shot. I am only about a hundred pages in, and find it compelling. I am always looking for the next place I can sneak off to for ten minutes to read some more.

Most comfortable shoes ever!
Merrells never disappoint! So comfortable I wear them every day on the farm. A working shoe, built for comfort and support. I adore them.

Love these flops!
This about my fifth pair of these flip flops. I wear them constantly as they feel better than going barefoot. The arch support is the secret. Eventually I wear them out, but then I get to try a new color.
