Very temperamental, Works half the time
3 of 5 found this helpful I bought this machine for use in recording messages and programs at church. This machine will only accept CDs that are are labeled Digital Audio Recordable , and will NOT accept a CD Rom. The aforementioned discs that it will accept are no longer available in any store that I've been able to find, Amazon is the only place I know of that still carries them. Also, even the discs that this machine accepts are often rejected 10-15 minutes into the recording. It has been a disappointing experience on many occasions when I've missed an entire special program or message because of what the machine calls a faulty disc. I would not recommend it to anyone for anything! Complete garbage, and I'm sure this is why Sony no longer manufactures it!

Great product at a fair price. I don’t know if it will actually work for what I purchased it for, but that’s no reflection on the item itself. I purchased it for my RV, but now I’m second guessing if the 3/8 inlet is going to be able to handle the 100 gpm flor required for my 500 ISM engine. Especially since it’s threaded on the inside, so any adapter I use will narrow the opening. Again, all this is clearly stated in the ad, it’s on me and not on the product.

Good heavy cable, but not gold plated as described
Starting on a positive note - the cable is pretty heavy, and definitely not expensive.
Now the negative side - the cable I received didn't resemble the gold plated one on the picture, the end is made of some standard metal with no plating. I'm using this cable to run from my PC to a tv screen, and while there is no distortion of the picture, it throws the screen off to make part of the picture not visible. I thought it was perhaps the tv screen that was the problem, but when I run the VGA cable that the computer came with I have no such problem.
