Not made like they were just a couple years ago
As with so many manufactured items, this new B&D juicer is not up to the standards of the old B&D one it replaced. We juice every day and got 3 years of service out of the old juicer. However, it started vibrating badly and would travel around the counter when running so it was time for a new one. This one is identical in every way, but the cutting blade cup is only about half as effective/sharp as the old one. When before things like celery greens and bell peppers would be ground to a fine pulp, this one leaves the pepper skins intact and the celery leaves whole. It also doesn't smoothly grind up the veggies but jerks and grabs them so as you feed them into the opening you can feel it's not cutting like it should. Switching the old cutting blade cup with the new one solves the problem, but that's not optimum in my opinion.
Next time I'll look elsewhere for an old stock B&D juicer since this is easy to operate and clean.
