$400 air filter that you can see.
1 of 1 found this helpful So, we’re talking about a $400 dollar air filter that can be seen when the hood is open. That’s the nuts and bolts of it. I get it, it costs $400 dollars because CARB had to be paid to do extensive testing to be sure this evil air filter doesn’t cause pollution. That’s right, the cost is passed down by the manufacturer to the consumer. Could have been a $200 air filter that flows better than stock and grabs dirt from the air better, but some yahoo’s in California have some government organization the power to tell you what you can and can’t put on your car. Would I buy it again, absolutely, for the price I paid, absolutely, just remember your parts are more expensive than they should be because hippies were allowed to vote.
