CASSETE LOADING MECHANISM
2 of 2 found this helpful I own a similar (TR-96) after several years of very light use, the cassete loading/ejection mechanism failed on mine, so I looked for a sismilar used that would allow me to view mi old tapes, well the one that showed up at my doorstep also hed the same problem, except worse, the mecahnism is was visibly defective, withe the switch already broken or loose, once power was applied from my ac adapter, a strange repetitive noise could be heard, indicating a failed device, not possible to load a cassete.
