A little too much
All i wanted when i looked at this hard drive was an external for my Time Machine program on my mac. Not to have to go through 1000 steps and software downloads to even get this drive to be an external, and not just a CD that sits on my desktop. After everything was finished and i restarted my computer and the drive, everything went amazing, 500GB of backup space is perfect for my needs, its fast, and extremely quite compared to my firewire which is also an Acomdata 500GB, they match perfectly, and I'm very pleased with this drive.
