good as a gun sight, not so much for video projects.
2 of 2 found this helpful it is an interesting night vision camera that lacks two important features. First, it is only compatible with NTSC, North American video and electrical cycles. When using it in the UK or Europe for instance, the image has rolling bars due to the lights in the cities are on 50hz, not 60hz like in the US.
More importantly, there is no video out, so the only way to view what is being shot is through the small eyepiece. If you plan to use this purely as a rifle scope then there should be no issue. I hoped to use it as a night vision camera to integrate with video and film projects so I can't give it a full recommendation.
