An Ordinary, Yet Extraordinary Life

I love this woman. I love her book. Her story is ordinary, yet so extraordinary. She is just a woman living her life, yet her life becomes one of spectacular grace, interest, acclaim, and accolades. She just does what she does, whittle, fiddle, work hard, and care for those God has put in her life. She never changes, never waivers from who she was to who she continues to be despite meeting many famous people not only in her field, but 'stars' of TV, radio, music, and more. So many lessons here. After thanking her children and God, some of her closing advice, "Live each day the same. Don't let fame or fortune sway you . . ." She truly is a "living Treasure", not just of Arkansas and Silver Dollar City, but in God's economy I'd guess and for sure the U.S and maybe beyond. She will be 107 years young October 2023. Thank you Ms. Violet for giving us your story and yourself and making so many smile.

Shad Heller is in it.

I got this dvd because Shad Heller is in it. I agree with the other reviews that Buddy Ebsen, Donna Douglas, and Nancy Kulp all were fantastic, believable, same great characters as ever, but the different Jethro, and granny's mom, I did not care for at all..
