Non functional

Device powered up and showed 512Gb capacity, but could only transfer 16Gb before it quit storing data. Then all information disappeared and the device showed 0 data and 0 size. When device was removed and looked at again data previously transferred was seen along with capacity data, but no more data could be transferred and after a period of time the information disappeared again.
