This thing makes kicks and snares sound incredible. Must be used carefully as the sound is addicting and can be easily overdone. Brings anything forward in the speakers and lifts the track out of the muck. Brings a little sparkle and clarity if used subtlety, but can be an outrageous effects processor when really pushing the signal or using the crazy inverted ratios. Absolutely the best bang for your buck in the compressor world. Every serious studio has got to have at least one of these kicking around and guaranteed it is still being used too. Right next to compressors costing 10 times as much and more. You gotta get one!

Great rack for the money
This rack was easy to build. It seemed a little shaky at first but as soon as I racked a piece of gear in it it stabilized and became pretty strong. For the money it can't be beat. Looks very professional in my studio. I have racked a vintage ampex reel to reel and some related gear that I need to roll around in my studio....it worked perfectly. I would recommend.
