Wonderful!
Extremely versatile for a 14x4.25 snare. Kind of a two for one thing. It’s can be a piccolo, or sound like a standard jazz snare. Tuned down, it produces a deep tone, sounding like a 5” or even a 5.5”. Tuned up, it has a bright cutting crack on rim shots. I have mine tuned med/low. Has a deeper tone, but also rim shots produce a darker pleasant tone. I have a Bovid thin Goat skin head on mine. The sensitivity of this snare is amazing. Gretsch/Grego nailed it with this one.

Tonal
One of the most musical and tonal effects cymbal’s out. ( if it fits your sound/style ) it’s quick dark/and bright at the same time. Not too overly trashy either.
