2 of 2 found this helpful I bought 3 or 4 of these things for 2 to 6 cell maglites and they absolutely Rock! Mag offered a replacement module years ago, and I replaced it with one of these because it was so much brighter. The only downside, if you can even call it that, is these do have a very very slight yellow tint. Its not been a problem at all and maybe even knocks the edge off these things being so bright.
Time will tell the tale of durability, I can't make a call yet as it's only been 4-6 weeks, but so far I love 'em.
If it means anything, my 2yo Granddaughter plays with the 2 cell and she hasn't managed to kill it yet.(-:
