Problem with the screen brightness

Problem with the screen brightness, was surprised to see the same thing with other customer too. Right out of the box there's a problem with the screen brightness. Even at full brightness with every battery saving feature turned off, the screen is very very dim. I am hoping this is just a fluke with this machine and will be returning it.
