A solid, high quality truck for Electric conversion.
I got back into RC because of the electric craze with the brushless motor and electronic ESC. All the hassle and expense associated with nitro are gone.with the power of brushless motor, the best way to apply it is the truggy. They have the long chassis,arms, and size to put power to the ground. The X2 is one of the best on the market. I originally had my site on the 8ight T, but could find one for a good price. I have the LST converted to Electric, the Ofna 9.5 buggy converted, now to the Mutilator which I used as my bread and butter daily bashing vehicle. I have more parts, and they are cheaping than the X2. I play on the streets in front of my house and open parking lots. They go about 70 mph. For the X2, I used the RC monster motor mount, the mamba 2200 kv motor and ESC, the hobby partz 2.4 ghz radio, and proline tires & bodies. I use the DM-1 locking center gear for the solid front to back connection. The gears are strong and suspension geometry are good. The size is just perfect for bashing. Tires last a long time. I just keep a few spare diffs and drive shafts for emergency parts. The electric power beat up these parts. I charge the batteries from my car as I drive to work. The operating cost is very low. It's a fun truck to build and drive. I use my LST for the dirt field. For the street and speed, it one of tge best truck on the market.

LED lights for cheap
The quality is pretty good. The heat sink in the back keeps hitting my forks when I turn the handle all the way in slow speed maneuver. It keep twisting off the socket. The took a dremel and cut off some of the fins that hit the fork. The beam spread doesn't hit the ground, It hit at waist level. You can't see the road in front of you in dark areas.
