A perfect upgrade
Any (Core 2 quad) is a good choice ... The Q9400 is just one out of many in my collection and is currently running in a HP 6000 Pro Micro tower with 4 Gigs of DDR3 RAM ... There is no disappointments with this processor ... A perfect upgrade from the Intel Core 2 Duo ...

Perfect upgrade!
I own a few HP 6000 pros, all came with dual cores when I purchased... All my 6000 pros Now run on quads and the 2.66/4m/1333 was the first quad I ever installed or did an upgrade on. The dual core is a great CPU but if you watch a lot of videos and multi task more then your average computer user, then the Core 2-Quad is perfect in choice no matter if it is as low as 2.33/4m/1333 or higher as long as its a Quad, you will be very satisfied! ....
