Marghereti's Italian gothic classic. Barbara Steele! Restored and gorgeous print as it should be.
Beautiful print finally available! Of all the Italian films I saw when I was young the one I always hoped for is this. Previous to this only vhs copies of the uncut version were available. The most sought after of course has been the British 'X Certificate' version with the unedited opening sequence. I could be wrong, but this looks like it is the unclipped 'Terror Of Dr Hichcock' version, despite the 'Horrible Dr Hichcock' titling. Nonetheless it looks awesome! Now fans of Italian 1960s Horror films have a pristine print set of the Hichcock films, adding this to the already available sequel 'The Ghost'. Next on the wish list a widescreen blu-ray of 'The Wild Wild Planet'!
