this is a good recording cd
Like the title says, I've been wanting to grab this for some time and when I saw my girlfriend's Mother owned a copy I asked kindly but she wouldn't part with it. That's no problem as I didn't expect her to. So from then on it just went onto my wish-list and I knew I'd get round to it one day. This month I promised myself I wouldn't buy any due to going away on holiday on the 11th, so I kinda need to save some money. As soon as I saw this though I had to. I listened to A/B whilst at my girlfriend's on her Father's set up which you can view here. I'm finally spinning C/D, on my lower end set-up and even still, it sounds absolutely fantastic and I'm so happy I bought this. I hope you all had a great weekend! permalink [–]shakamalakaDual 12 points 9 months ago Out of curiosity, why Legend? I mean, I get that it's one of the best-selling catalogue albums of all time and all that, but as somewhat of a Wailers nerd (I have some of their albums on LP, tape and CD), I've never considered buying Legend on vinyl. I wouldn't really buy many best-ofs on vinyl for that matter. To me, part of the appeal of vinyl is that it makes people sit down and listen to an entire record cover-to-cover, which doesn't really happen in this day and age with all the MP3 bullshit. ... and a best-of compilation (like Legend) on vinyl would basically be like having an MP3 "shuffle" feature on a record. I don't see the point. ...especially when you're talking about an artist with such a deep, iconic catalogue.
